Our client is an international personal care and household products sold on mass market, pharmacy and e-commerce. A large company but smaller in France with close relationships between all departments, with simplicity and engagement values.

E-commerce has strong growth potential. You’ll be autonomous in the management of your Pure Player accounts (Amazon #1), with this comes full ‘Accountability’ for results.

 

Main responsibilities :

  • Management and control of the company’s business within Amazon FR and smaller strategic eCom accounts
  • Preparing and implementing promotional plans within agreed budget levels
  • Preparing and updating on an ongoing business account plans for each account
  • Preparing all volume forecasts, by account, to input into the forecasting process
  • Keeping updated records of all trade promotional funding and KPI’s
  • Face to face/Teams meetings and negotiations with all relevant major account contacts at all levels
  • Managing all trade pricing within your account portfolio in co-ordination with ecom controller and France Sales Director
  • Quarterly travel to UK or Germany to participate in European Ecom Steercom Meetings

 

Reponsibilities in details :

  • Full responsibility for the P&L and the company’s business in the accounts assigned (Pure Players : Amazon and other smaller accounts)
  • You will be in charge of the development of our business stream with pure players and you will support the KAMs in the development of our online business with our omni customers (Drive and online sales)
  • Identify new distribution trends and new business opportunities
  • Responsible for preparing volume, value, trade funding and profit budgets for each account on a quarterly / annual basis for presentation to the eCom Director
  • Responsible for accurate volume forecasting on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate specific needs related to ecom, improving our visibility, sellout performance with marketing support

 

Skills requirements :

  • Good level of English (mandatory)
  • You have already an e-commerce expertise and a good knowledge of Pure Players  (Amazon, Cdiscount, etc.) in a BtoC company (all markets)
  • You will bring your strong ecom culture to enable our organization to be more efficient on this distribution channel
  • You are curious and on the lookout for new trends
  • The key to this role is being able maximise new eCom strategies and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Solid knowledge of windows based computer systems. Strong experience with excel, word and PowerPoint software.
  • Analytical with good understanding of financial management and specifically components of a P&L
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time management – there will be numerous priorities across different stakeholders at the same time
  • Ability to define key insights from multiple data sources
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop external customer relationships, to a senior management level
